Cost Information:

You can purchase licences for SKILLscan online or SKILLscan offline – or both!

a. SKILLscan offline:

The offline version is based on a price per computer - either a laptop or desktop. Once installed, SKILLscan offline can be used on as many Candidates for as many assessments over the whole range of Awards as required; there are no limitations.

There are 2 price elements:

• A 'one-off' price for a licence for each computer, which is £155; considerable discounts and Enterprise Licences are available for larger quantities - see below.
• An annual maintenance fee is charged at 20% of the licence cost per annum.

b. SKILLscan online:

The online version is priced on the basis of a cost per Candidate - a Candidate 'Licence'. Access for Assessors is provided free of charge.

The base cost for Candidate access is £3.50 per candidate, with a minimum purchase of 50. The licences can be used on any Award, with as many groups as required and the licences can be used to register candidates within any 12 month period. Discounts and Enterprise Licences are available for larger quantities - see below.

c. Discounts

Discounts are available with both versions; the more copies or licences you buy, the cheaper the price becomes, up to a level of 20%. Purchase both versions and the costs are reduced by a further 5%.

d. Enterprise Licences:

For larger users an 'Enterprise' Licence gives 2 advantages:

• Firstly it allows Clients to use either version without limit - thus the offline version can be installed on ALL your Organisation's computers. Similarly, there are NO limits to the number of Client Licences that you can have.
• Secondly, it is very economical - considerable savings can be achieved.

d. Maintenance and Support

Maintenance for the offline version and the Candidate Licence for the online version covers:

• Additional Awards - or updates to existing Awards - are added to SKILLscan without charge.
• All enhancements to the functionality of the application are provided without charge.
• Telephone and email support.
• Fixes to any known bugs.
