a. SKILLscan online

SKILLscan online is a ‘web application’ – which means that it can be accessed from almost any computer that is connected to the internet – at home, your work or at the local library. Just point your browser to www.skillscan.co.uk - that's this website! Users have a username and password and can login to the application via the box at the top of this form.

All you will need is a relatively modern computer – usually anything with Windows XP or better is fine - and a connection to the Internet. You can access the minimum computer requirements by clicking here.

b. SKILLscan offline

SKILLscan offline can be loaded onto your desktop at work or at home, or – even better – onto your laptop. Because you don't need an internet connection to use SKILLscan offline, you can take it with you into the workplace when interviewing a Candidate. You can do the assessment with the Candidate and the results can be saved as pdf files on your laptop and then you can upload them, print them or email them later, as convenient.

Again all you need is a relatively modern computer – usually anything with Windows XP or better is fine; of course, you DONT need an internet connection!. You can access the minimum computer requirements by clicking here.

In assessment terms, both versions work in exactly the same way - a button driven menu system - and they contain the same Award Database.

The products are sold with licences or maintenance options, providing full support of your SKILLscan application, together with free upgrades, (to both versions) and to the Awards themselves! This means that if the Awards change - as they do every so often - or you want an additional Award adding - no problem - just let us know the full details!
